Senior Project Architect (Technical & Delivery Focus)
Location: London (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Senior Project Architect who is as passionate about how buildings are put together as they are about how they look.
We are specifically looking for an "architect’s architect"—someone who thrives in the technical design stages (RIBA 4-5) and enjoys the rigour of construction. You will not just be "running" projects; you will be the technical authority on them, translating our design intent into robust, buildable details using Revit.
Why this role?
-
Autonomy: You will take ownership of complex heritage and retrofit schemes, leading them through technical design and construction.
-
Impact: You won't be a cog in a machine. Your knowledge of construction will actively shape the studio’s technical standards.
-
Culture: We are a flat structure that values critical thinking. We want your input on how we build, not just what we build.
The "Must-Haves"
-
Deep Construction Knowledge: You must have a proven track record of taking projects from Stage 4 through to Completion. You should be comfortable dealing with contractors, answering RFIs, and resolving site clashes independently.
-
Advanced Revit Proficiency: We need more than just 3D modeling. You must be able to use Revit for detailing (1:5 / 1:10), scheduling, and coordinating with consultant models (IFC/BIM360).
-
Regulatory Expertise: A strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and NBS specifications is essential.
Your Background
-
ARB Registered Architect with significant post-Part III experience (typically 5+ years).
-
Experience in heritage or retrofit sectors is highly desirable.
-
You are a problem solver who anticipates construction issues before they reach the site.
